​Art inspires Art. I have always been inspired and moved by paintings. I happened to read about Girl with the pearl earring and was immediately enthralled to incorporate or make a visual narrative about the making of the painting. We re-created The Girl with the pearl earring by researching the life of the artist - Johannes Vermeer. This photo narrative was set in the tone of the inner thoughts of the girl about whom we seldom know. It's almost a mystery who this girl was since at no point in time we got to know about her name or where she came from.
